Lisa Sandquist

Lisa blends yoga postures, breathing and meditation with core strengthening and attention to alignment. In addition to teaching healthy, active students, Lisa regularly works with students who suffer from injuries and chronic pain.

She is most influenced by the Iyengar tradition and has been fortunate to study with many Master Teachers including Gabriel Halpern and Judith Hanson Lasater.

Lisa studied art history at Northwestern University and has traveled extensively throughout the world. She particularly loves Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. In addition to yoga and traveling, she also likes to read, cycle, and hike.
