I
design classes to suit the ability and comfort levels of my students.
My classes are both invigorating and calming, teaching students
to be steady, strong, and at ease in their yoga practice. "Attention"
is a vital word in my classes. I encourage students to pay more
and more attention to the alignment of their poses, to the rhythms
of their breath, and to the process of coordinating breath and
movement to discover newfound physical and mental freedom. According
to my teaching philosophy, when students learn to pay more attention
to their alignment, to their breath, and to their body working
as one unified system, they experience a powerful sense of integration
and balance that relieves stress and gives flight to physical,
mental, and spiritual strength. My goal is to give students an
experience of the vigor, grace, and peace residing within themselves.
